Angela Akins Gracia had a passion for sports from the time she was a young girl and decided to study the game of golf. She attended several lessons in golf in order to develop a powerful yet relaxed swing. Her skills improved as she grew older and won over eight tournaments while she was in high school. As the captain of Mable Falls high school's golf team, Garcia led her team to the 3rd position in the 2003 regional competition and they subsequently came with a sixth-place finish in the 2006 competition. The lady who holds 17 medals on her national record and is part of the the Women's Texas Golf Association, is a true golfing prodigy. Garcia attended Texas Christain University to study during a period of time after her graduation from high school. After that, she went to the University of Texas. When she arrived at Texas Christain, she was introduced to a competitive atmosphere that allowed her to develop the skills of a golfer. Angela Akin Garcia found great pleasure as a professional golfer. Yet, the lady had no intention of turning professional. After graduating from school, she got a job as a reporter at Fox Sports Southwest.
